japan is dying
first, please read this article.
http://abcnews.go.com/m/blogEntry?id=16724822&sid=7623874&cid=7623874&p=2
i still cannot believe what happened and is happening here.
are these people are insane?! they are not even human.
i am extremely furious about these teachers and school and the board of education and can't even explain how i feel.
they are just trying to protect themselves.
they are not even thinking how the boy felt and why he had to conduct suicide.
they are meaningless in this world.
as long as this kind of stupid people are alive here, i think japan is dying.
i am utmost depressed.

Daughters
i've been in love with this song ever since i heard it for the first time.
if my baby is a girl, i'll sure play this for my future-hubbie and her everyday.
"fathers be good to your daughters
daughters will love like you do
girls become lovers who turn into mothers
so mothers be good to your daughters"

Yuri Kochiyama
my BFF in america told me there was a Japanese American woman who fought for the rights with Malcolm X.
I never knew about her.
so i googled and read some her articles. i was inspired. she is the one who represented being Japanese outside of Japan.
thank you Domonique for sharing the video with me.
great to know. :)
and here's a music video by Seattle's Hip Hop group, Blue Scholars.
it's called Yuri Kochiyama. they made a song for this lady.
thanks again nique!

2005/2006
i was watching 2005 and 2006 Billboard Top 100.
every single song reminded me of memories in the year!
i was a high school student in 2005 and 2006. aww i miss the teenage days so much. every day was just fun.
you know music's power? music always reminds you of everything. what you were doing, who you were with, where you were... you remember when you listen to the song.
i guess that's one of the reasons why music never dies. people have memories with songs. good memories, bad memories, whatever. it just brings you back everything.
that's why i love music.
2005's #1 We Belong Together/ Mariah Carey
2006's #1 Bad Day/ Daniel Powter
