japan is dying
first, please read this article.
http://abcnews.go.com/m/blogEntry?id=16724822&sid=7623874&cid=7623874&p=2
i still cannot believe what happened and is happening here.
are these people are insane?! they are not even human.
i am extremely furious about these teachers and school and the board of education and can't even explain how i feel.
they are just trying to protect themselves.
they are not even thinking how the boy felt and why he had to conduct suicide.
they are meaningless in this world.
as long as this kind of stupid people are alive here, i think japan is dying.
i am utmost depressed.

Daughters
i've been in love with this song ever since i heard it for the first time.
if my baby is a girl, i'll sure play this for my future-hubbie and her everyday.
"fathers be good to your daughters
daughters will love like you do
girls become lovers who turn into mothers
so mothers be good to your daughters"

Yuri Kochiyama
my BFF in america told me there was a Japanese American woman who fought for the rights with Malcolm X.
I never knew about her.
so i googled and read some her articles. i was inspired. she is the one who represented being Japanese outside of Japan.
thank you Domonique for sharing the video with me.
great to know. :)
and here's a music video by Seattle's Hip Hop group, Blue Scholars.
it's called Yuri Kochiyama. they made a song for this lady.
thanks again nique!

2005/2006
i was watching 2005 and 2006 Billboard Top 100.
every single song reminded me of memories in the year!
i was a high school student in 2005 and 2006. aww i miss the teenage days so much. every day was just fun.
you know music's power? music always reminds you of everything. what you were doing, who you were with, where you were... you remember when you listen to the song.
i guess that's one of the reasons why music never dies. people have memories with songs. good memories, bad memories, whatever. it just brings you back everything.
that's why i love music.
2005's #1 We Belong Together/ Mariah Carey
2006's #1 Bad Day/ Daniel Powter

Moves Like Jaggar
it's a review of my all-time favorite band Maroon 5's new song!
this is really good i think.
the music vid is unique and very interesting to see. i really like the Mick Jaggar's old film parts.
and over all Adam's high tone voice gets to my ears so smoothly and Xtina's powerful voice puts some spice.
nice collaboration!! good work :)

1+1>2
omg these past a few weeks went soooooo fast and busy!!!!
party, bar drinking, club hopping, wine party, short trip to Hakone by myself, celebrating my bf's b'day, blind group date (lol), lunch with my ex-roommie, and spending a nite with bf!
i wanna talk about the conversation with my ex-roommie. (we shared a dorm room back in the states!)
we were having a lil coffee time and talking about relationships and guys and stuff. u know, it's pretty much girls talk.lol
and we found out we have the same idea that "1 plus 1 should be more than 2."
we don't want a type of relationships spoiling each other, or one depending on the other too much, or chaining each up.
getting in a relationship means, one having his/her own backgrounds, thoughts, and life and the other having completely different things share everything.
that is why, it should be more than 2. not 2, or not need to say -.
we want a relationship that encourages, inspires, and enhances both.
i hope this relationship with my bf is going to be like that.
since i'm in a mood of loving somebody, here are my fav sweet songs!

Lily

i've got a new goal. i want to be a lady who goes well with lilies. i wanna be like a lily.
a lily can stand without depending on others and absolutely beautiful by herself. i wanna be like that.
ok this is why i thought so.
the other day, i realized that i had been going to a wrong way as a woman.
guys don't see me as a girl and don't treat me well. i didn't why but i do now.
i can't love a man if he doesn't love me. i mean i can only love a man who loves me. because... i'm scared. scared of being hurt by loving somebody more than he does to me. i don't think i can change this.
however, i had NOT made effort to get loved. i realized that that is why guys don't see me as a girl. i was like "ok, this is me, myself, and i. i'm not gonna change myself. so accept and love me." how selfish is that.
i want my ppl how i'm gonna change. you'll see ;) and hopefully the one will find me soon!!

June 25st: STEEZ Party Tokyo at Citta
it's been long since the last blog. i've been busy these days... work is not so but things after work are kinda crazy!!!!!
anyways, i'm gonna talk about the STEEZ party at club CITTA on June 25. this party was organized by the famous house dancer, Charisma KANTARO and supported by Pioneer. it was a part of PR for Pioneer's new audio line STEEZ targeting dancers.
http://steez-pioneer.com/
i was actually a HIP HOP dancer for 5 yrs. it's not like i quit but i have no time to do now sadly.... but u know i love music and dancing so 2 dancer friends and i went to the party!!! it was pretty much a new school typed party but i chose the old school style! RUN DMC baby!!!!!
omg it was ridiculously FUN!!!! there were some dance show cases and the dancers ROCKED!!! and we three danced like crazy literally all nite long!!! tho some of the ppl there were so wack (they were just standing even tho the DJ was playing good music!!), we def had a great time there.
man it was so fun!
tell me just say this. I LOVE MUSIC!
the best song from the nite.

Girls Nite Out to Sweet Memories
the last weekend was one of my bests ever!!!!
on Saturday, i had a reunion with my really good friends from college. first, we had dinner at a cute&nice mexican place in Roppongi. of course we had corona ;)
we three got together for the first time in 1 year. so we pretty much talked and caught up during dinner. now each of us has own life and work as it's own way. it was interesting to listen to their life stories and also to talk mine. we felt like we were the ladies in sex and the city.lol
then, we kicked out and club hopped in Roppongi.
we were so excited but it turned out boring... the clubs we went were WACK! so one of them and i took a taxi and came back to my place... it was still cool cuz i had a really good time with the girls.
on sunday, she and i went to Yokohama China Town! we ate A LOT and got literally stuffed. and then walked around the china town and took a walk to Yokohama Minato Mirai thru Yamashita park.
actually, Minato Mirai was one of my most fav places. because... u know, i'll keep that with me now.lol
anyways, i had a great great weekend thanks to my girls. i wanna get together with them and go nite out even after marriage regularly cuz i know that freshes me up!
here's the song from the weekend. nah, Sunday Minato Mirai.lol

Inspiration

she is my fashion inspiration.
her blog is always stylish, colorful, exciting, elegant, fresh, and just so cool.
her style really opened my new world.
i bought a white long jacket and black skinny pants. u'll see some shade of her don't ya?
since i bookmarked her blog, i've been inspired by her everyday.
and it got much more fun to choose an outfit because of her.
super models, magazines, celebrities, bloggers... a lot of things can be ur inspiration.
so, what's yours?
